Ballerina

About

I am Daniela Gómez Pérez, a professional ballerina and Principal Dancer of the Cuban National Ballet. With a broad artistic-technical domain, my interpretive range goes from the traditional romantic-classical style to more neoclassical and contemporary works.

My passion for ballet began at a young age, and I have dedicated myself to pursuing excellence in this art form through years of rigorous training and professional experience. I have trained at renowned institutions such as the Fernando Alonso National Ballet School and the Instituto Superior de Arte de Cuba, where I graduated with a degree in Dance Art-Ballet.

I am proud to have performed as a soloist and principal dancer with the Alicia Alonso National Ballet of Cuba since 2015, and have received several mentions and international awards for my performances.

In 2019, I was promoted to Principal Dancer, and in 2018 and 2019, I received special mentions for my interpretations of the works “Prospera” and “Giselle,” respectively.

I have also participated in several international dance festivals and competitions, including the XXV International Ballet Festival of Havana, where I premiered the work “Cigne.”

My website is a platform for me to share my experiences and my love for ballet with you.
